Inkaterra Machu Picchu Hotel

The Inkaterra Machu Picchu Hotel is a collection of comfortable small and charming cottages located at the base of the Machu Picchu mountain, a close bus ride to the ancient ruins. It is surrounded by tropical gardens and trails with many orchids and a large variety of colorful birds.
Pueblo Hotel sits amidst a private five-hectare (12.36 acres) cloud forest at 2,020 meters above sea level (6,627 feet), inside the Machu Picchu Sanctuary.
The Hotel is located along the Urubamba River on the outskirts of Machu Picchu village (Aguas Calientes), a short distance from the train station and just three blocks from the bus station.
Facilities
Inkaterra Machu Picchu Hotel has 76 rooms and 9 suites built in a rustic, colonial style. The handiwork of local artisans adorns the rooms. Pueblo Hotel is perfectly integrated with the sanctuary and its natural habitat.
Hotel facilities include the Hiram Bingham Lounge Bar; two restaurants – the main dining room, and Café InkaTerra, a self-service lunch buffet restaurant; roomy lounge areas near the lobby and overlooking the gardens, a boutique and “Unu” spa.
More than five kilometers (3.12 miles) of garden paths can be enjoyed with several observation points for viewing flora (372 native orchid species), birds (155 species); and butterflies (108 species).

Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge

Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, at 8,200 feet above sea level, is the only hotel located within the very sanctuary of the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Situated at the top of the mountain, just outside the gates to the ruins, the Sanctuary Lodge allows you the easiest access to the site.
Lodging
The Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge has 29 well appointed rooms and 2 suites, with some of the best views in the world: the ruins of Machu Picchu and the Sacred Mountain. The interior garden, apart from the beautiful panoramic view, has a variety of local flowers and orchids.
All rooms are equipped with telephone, cable TV, mini bar, frigo-bar and safe-deposit box.
The hotel also offers laundry and room service.
